DARCH students winning top prize at CUBE 2022, winning work showcasing at The Jurong Lake District Exhibition Launch Event.

Challenge for the Urban & Built Environment (CUBE) is an annual workshop cum competition for pre-university students organized by URA as part of the school education outreach program. The workshop enables participants to delve into the intricacies of planning and urban design for Singapore by studying a sample urban site within the city. It provides them with firsthand experience as architects and urban planners, aiming to educate and instill appreciation for the complex issues of urban planning and architectural design in our compact city-state. URA hopes to inspire the next generation of planners, architects, and urban designers through this program.

CUBE typically takes place in November each year. For the 2022 edition, the five-day workshop was held from Monday, November 21st to Friday, November 25th, 2022, at The URA Centre.
