A common vision of helping the needy

12 Aug 2016

The Straits Times, 11 August 2016 - Article featured the Project We Care programme that was started by the People’s Association in 2012. The programme brings together companies and pools their resources to meet the different needs in the community. One example mentioned in the article is the SPECtacular Experience where optical shops provide eyewear and eye screening services for the needy, while lens and equipment manufacturers contributed their eye screening equipment and lenses. SP and NP students from the Diploma in Optometry are also involved in the initiative.
