Internship leading to a good job landing

Desmond Soh Shi Peng and Eugenia Tan Pui Wen, both interns from the Diploma in Chemical Engineering course, have successfully undergone 21 weeks of intensive internship training at Grundfos (Singapore) Pte Ltd. Their respective company supervisors have high praises for their excellent attitudes and work performed during their internship.

One interesting and challenging aspect of their programme was to successfully develop an effective chemical dosing skid. Both Desmond and Eugenia started off with gauging the industry needs and expectations for such turn-key project and their final development and design of a cost effective modular chemical dosing skid for treating industrial water. Their excellent work have earned them successful employment and good job offer by Grundfos soon after their internship programme.

According to Grundfos’s Human Resource Department both interns "have made good impressions. They are flexible, helpful and always enthusiastic in learning more and taking on new things. Their sociable personality have also helped them to develop close relationship with some of the co-workers here, making themselves an integral part of the Grundfos team. As they have previously expressed interest in different job paths within Grundfos (eg. Desmond is keen on hands-on related job, whereas Eugenia is more towards marketing and events coordination), we are glad to have such timely job opportunities for them too. We congratulate them for their new role as Service Engineer and Marketing Executive.”
