NUS medical school takes in first former madrasah students

The Straits Times, 18 May 2015 - SP’s Diploma in Biomedical Science graduate, Mr Ahmad Abdurrahman, is one of two former madrasah students to become the first to enter the National University of Singapore’s (NUS) Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. Ahmad also shared how his internship at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital reinforced his aspiration to become a doctor. He encountered first-hand how he could alleviate the suffering of patients through the knowledge and skills he possess. TP's Biomedical Science graduate, Ms Amalina Ridzuan, was also featured for being the other former madrasah student to enter NUS medical school.
