SPECtacular Experience @ Tanjong Pagar

SPECtacular Experience is a collaboration between People's Association, Singapore Polytechnic and various organisations. It is a project to provide eye care solutions for beneficiaries through the provision of complimentary eye care services and eyewear as well as to increase the awareness on eye care and treatment. This is the third run of the SPECtacular Experience after serving Sembawang and Tampines GRCs. The symbolic launch event was held on 26 November 2016.

The first batch of 40 beneficiaries were all full of smiles when they received their eyewear! This meaningful project helps to bring clearer sight to 240 vulnerable residents in Tanjong Pagar GRC through end-to-end eye care. This initiative will be rolled out in phases across all constituencies in Tanjong Pagar GRC and residents needing cataract surgery would then be referred for treatment.
