Applied Chemistry alumnus received A*Star scholarship

Our heartiest congratulations to DACP alumni Woo Jia Xuan (left in photo) for being awarded the prestigious A*STAR Scholarship on 24 July 2018 to pursue his passion in scientific research in Singapore.

Believing in the importance of having multidisciplinary skills, Jia Xuan (Class of 2018) completed both the DACP course and the 18-month Diploma-Plus Certificate Programme in Applied Psychology while in SP. He will be pursuing the degree in Chemistry at the National University of Singapore after completing his National Service.

Jia Xuan has the following words of encouragement for his juniors:
“The first step towards success is to try, for only those who are willing, can and will succeed.  And, when faced with failure, remember that failure is not the end, but the beginning of a different path to the same goal.
The future is only certain the moment you decide it.”
