Biomedical Science alumnus joins the fight against Covid-19

To commemorate World Humanitarian Day 2020, we honour all who fought and are fighting against the Covid-19 pandemic, especially those who have lost their lives in doing so.

Joining Singapore’s healthcare workers in this fight is our very own SP’s Diploma in Biomedical Science (DBS) alumnus, Dr Desmond Tan (left), who answered the nation’s call to lend his expertise and volunteer on the ground at the dormitories. This is in addition to his role as an Accident & Emergency (A&E) physician at NUH. Our Singapore Maritime Academy (SMA) lecturer, Captain Yadav (right), also took time off his schedule to volunteer in assisting the medical team!

Every contribution helps, no matter how big or small. Thank you so much Dr Desmond and Captain Yadav!
