Biomedical Science alumnus received Koh Boon Hwee Scholar Award 2023

Fan Chongyue (Diploma in Biomedical Science, Class of 2019) pursued Bachelors in Biomedical Sciences and Bio Business Double Major Programme at Nanyang Technological University. She was honored with the prestigious Koh Boon Hwee Scholar Award 2023 during NTU Convocation Ceremony 2023. She is also the valedictorian speaker for her school’s graduation ceremony. The Koh Boon Hwee Scholars Award recognised the accomplishments of exceptionally talented graduating students, who displayed strong leadership ability and have demonstrated great potential to contribute to the society.

Chongyue attributes her success to her aunt who had been a strong emotional support, equipping her with the necessary values and mind-set to make her who she is today. She also attributed that her strong learning foundation set in Singapore Polytechnic, enabling students to shine in various areas, set the precedence for her excellence in University. It is notable that Fiona had honoured her lecturer Dr Morganavel Selvarajoo as part of the Koh Boon Hwee Scholars Award 2023.
