Global Orthokeratology and Myopia Control Conference draws eye care community to Singapore Polytechnic

From 26 to 28 September 2023, Singapore Polytechnic (SP) hosted the 4th Global Orthokeratology and Myopia Control Conference (GOMCC), attracting over 700 eye care professionals from around the world. The event was jointly organised by Singapore Optometric Association, Asia Optometric Congress and SP Diploma in Optometry.

The 3-day conference featured speeches and workshops by renowned world experts and attracted key players from the eye care industry to the SP Convention Centre. Bootcamps and workshops were conducted at six locations, providing an immersive and interactive learning experience. Dr Tan Tuan Lin, Senior Director of SP’s Computing, Chemical and Life Sciences Cluster and the event’s Guest of Honour, highlighted SP’s commitment to excellence in optometry education and eye care.
