A group of students from the Diploma in Architecture (DArch) and Diploma in Civil Engineering with Business (DCEB) clinched the top prize in the International BIM Competition organized by Building Construction Authority (BCA) Singapore from 17-20 August 2015. To promote education in Building Information Modelling (BIM) and build up competencies in tertiary institutions, BCA has been organizing the BIM competition as an annual event. For 2015, the competition was extended to overseas participants drawing interest from 5 nations.
The SP team “Victorious Secret” was amongst the 6 shortlisted and it eventually won the top prize. The prize was presented to the team on 5 Oct 2015 by Mr. Quek See Tiat, Chairman of BCA during the Singapore Construction Productivity Week (SCPW) 2015.
