Diploma in Landscape Architecture students won prizes in Green Wave Competition. They received their awards from Guest-of-Honour, Ms Indranee Rajah, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Law at the Award Presentation Ceremony held in January 2015.
Lee Shi Rui won the 3rd Prize ($4000) with her individual project, “Trans Wind”; a new window system that allows users to enjoy natural ventilation in event of rain, makes it easier to clean both sides of the window and also adds on to the green aesthetics in the living environment.
Yao Lingling, Fan Mengyuan & Yang KaiQi won the Commendation Award ($500) with their team project, “Food Recycle Station”; an integrated tray return station that encourages users to return their food tray after meals and facilitate recycling (including food waste) in the process.
