Six year two students from the Diploma in Integrated Events & Project Management (DEPM) from the School of Architecture and the Built Environment (ABE) provided event support for the annual Real Estate Investment World Asia 2014. The region's most recognized and leading business networking event for real estate leaders, the event took place from 24 - 26 June 2014 at the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre.
The students provided on-site support which included helping out with the registration, the welcome desk, ushering and time-keeping duties, and other co-ordination work. It was an educational experience for the students and a great partnering opportunity with Terrapinn Pte Ltd.
This is the fourth year DEPM students worked with Terrapinn Pte Ltd, the organiser and creator of the "Real Estate Investment World" series of conferences around the world. Terrapinn is one of the world's leading and most respected B2B conference producer with offices in London, New York, Singapore, Sydney, Dubai and Johannesburg.
The business conference is one of the projects under the Diploma's Recruitment for Marquee Events program that aims to give DEPM students industry experience at brand name events from time to time.
