Singapore MICE Challenge 2016

A team of four students from the Diploma in Integrated Events & Project Management (DEPM), Ferry Maulana, Denice Poon, Samuel Yat and Qiqi Yeow, have emerged as the winners of the Singapore MICE Challenge 2016. This challenge, organised by Singapore Association of Convention & Exhibition Organisers & Suppliers (SACEOS), is a nationwide challenge for all tertiary students majoring in MICE or Business Events, Business Management, Hospitality and Tourism related fields.

Working with assigned mentors from the industry, the students worked behind-the-scenes for two months and applied what they learnt in the classroom by conceptualising and presenting a viable MICE event to a panel of local and international judges.

Our students will be invited for a fully sponsored trip to attend the Convening Leaders 2017 conference next January in Austin, Texas to interact with more than 4,000 industry leaders from the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA).
