Home United FC Fan Engagement Programme

A group of second year students from the Diploma in Integrated Events & Project Management (DEPM) collaborated with the Home United Football Club in creating a series of fans engagement events in 2015.

The first engagement event created by the students was the Berita Harian National Futsal Championship 2015 which was held at the Home United Youth Football Academy. The event saw soccer players from various football clubs compete against each other and a special appearance of Ex-National football star, Fandi Ahmad, and State Ministers such as Mr. K. Shanmugam and Mr. Masagos Zulkifli.

The second event that the students were involved was planning for the RHB Singapore Cup Semi-final Second Leg, which was held at the Yishun Stadium on 24 November 2015 in conjunction with the S League. The student team had organised some games and a photobooth before the start of the competition to engage, appreciate and thank the HUFC supporters who have been supporting the team over the years. The attendees enthusiastically participated and enjoyed playing the games.

It was an eye-opening experience for the team as they experienced the entire planning process from conceptualisation to execution, and closure of the event.\
