Be inspired by Principal Scientist of Hair Care R&D-Proctor & Gamble

On 14 Jan 2015, Mr Toshi IWATA, an accomplished Principal Scientist of Hair Care R&D-Proctor & Gamble shared his learning journey and career trails with the students from the Diploma in Perfumery and Cosmetic Science (DPCS). His epilogue inspired those who are passionate about pursuing a vocation in this area. Based on his wealth of knowledge and practical technical skills, he gave the students an insight into the latest concepts for hair care product formulations. The students were gratified to be able to relate his sharing with the topics in their core curriculum and it was an eye-opening experience for them.

“Through this P&G talk, I’ve learnt a lot more than in class and also learnt many interesting facts about the way our hair reflects light and thus affecting the appearance of our hair. After this talk, I’m feel more aspired to be like Mr IWATA to want to solve problems and apply science into our personal care product.”
