On July 28, 2023, the Diploma in Applied Chemistry Student Chapter demonstrated a strong commitment to environmental consciousness by orchestrating a park clean-up event at Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park. Aimed to rejuvenate Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park by addressing the issue of litter and waste accumulation within its premises, the event also aspired to make a substantial positive impact on the surrounding community and the residents living in close proximity to the park. By involving students in this endeavour, the Student Chapter aimed to promote long-lasting habits that prioritize the preservation of natural spaces.
