SP CLS share a common vision to imbue a digital culture mindset amongst staff and students. The school also drives pedagogical innovation through the development of video-based, AR/VR and subsequently MR learning packages, to augment technical hands-on skills training. These EduTech tools have been deployed in both Pre-Employment Training (PET) and Continuing Education and Training (CET) programs, with positive feedback from learners.

Our students have shared with Minister Chan how SMARTLab and its EduTech tools helped to enhance their learning experience in the lab and how those learning packages helped them to familiarise with particularly complex techniques prior to their physical lab sessions. Moreover, these learning packages also reduced the time required for physical laboratory briefing, ensured quality and consistent delivery for our learners, thereby encouraging self-directed learning.
