Creating a sustainable food delivery backpack for the NTU MSE Materials Innovation Challenge 2023

Three teams from CLS participated in the event organised by Nanyang Technological University’s School of Material Science and Engineering on 23 June 2023, with the team from the Diploma in Applied Chemistry (DAPC) course emerging second runner-up in the challenge. End-of-life products such as old clothes and polyurethane sponges were repurposed to create a prototype backpack that was made of sustainable and insulating materials.
