First DAPC alumna to get into NUS med school

25 Jun 2021

We would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Faleha D/O Mohamed Rafi (Class of 2019) who has been accepted into the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at the National University of Singapore (NUS). As a student from the Diploma in Applied Chemistry (DAPC) course, Faleha was a conscientious student who was diligent and responsible in her duties as class leader, as well as a caring classmate who readily offered help to her peers. Faleha attended several programmes like the Overseas Leadership Development Programme (OLDP) and Overseas Community Service Programme (OCSP) over the course of her time in Singapore Polytechnic (SP).

“Choosing SP was the best decision I have made as it provided me with the most holistic education experience. In particular, the DAPC course had equipped me with a strong scientific foundation through a wide array of modules such as Pharmacology and Medicinal Chemistry. My OCSP opportunity was pivotal in paving my pathway towards healthcare as it inspired me to serve the community. More importantly, I am grateful to my lecturers for their unwavering support and guidance. These factors have ultimately spurred me towards my path to choosing Medicine. Thank you, SP, for shaping me into the person I am today!”
