Two CLS alumni received the Army NSF of the Year Award 2022

CLS alumni, Ang Ci Peng (Applied Chemistry, Class of 2020) and Syed Naufal Bin Mohammad Isa (Chemical Engineering, Class of 2020) have received the Army NSF of the Year Award 2022. This annual award is presented to the most outstanding servicemen of the cohort who had demonstrated a strong commitment to defence and displayed exemplary qualities during their Full-time National Service.

A diligent leader, Ang Ci Peng led by example and strived for excellence in fitness and vocational competencies. Patient and engaging, he paid close attention to ground feedback and acted on them to improve training experience and inspired his soldiers to give their best through his sincerity. His conduct and performance had earned him the respect of his fellow soldiers.

A thoughtful leader, Syed Naufal Bin Mohammad Isa excelled in his role as a trainer and was a natural confidant to his trainees. Dedicated and engaging, he committed time to know his trainees on a personal level and inspired their commitment to serve as a role model. His conduct and performance had earned him the respect of his fellow soldiers.
