The ideal Applicant

The applicant should passionate about engineering but unsure what specific engineering field to go for. He/she should prepared to specialise in a specific course in either Electrical & Electronics or Mechanical track towards the end of Year 1 Semester 1.

Selection Process - Interview

Applicant will present their portfolio and interviewed by a panel of lecturers. Applicant will be assessed based on his/her aptitude, disposition and passion/Interest.

During the interview, questions asked include:

• Why were you apply for common engineering rather than specific diploma in engineering?
• What do you enjoy doing?
• What type of job would you take up when you graduate?

Portfolio include but not limited to the following:

• Engineering related CCAs
• Relevant achievements in engineering related competition
• Attended engineering related courses/workshops
