MAE Students Win at WSS 2016

WorldSkills Singapore (WSS) 2016, the 12th in the series of competition, was held from 7 to 9 July 2016. This national event was organised by the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) in conjunction with the five Polytechnics. By creating opportunities for youths to showcase their excellence in skills, the competition aims to generate interest in skills education, enhance the image of careers in skills and promote mastery of skills.

WSS Singapore 2016 winners stand a chance to represent Singapore at the prestigious 44th WorldSkills Competition to be held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates in October 2017.

Students from our DME (Diploma in Mechanical Engineering) course did tremendously well at World Skills Singapore 2016. Our heartiest congratulations to the following students and staff for their outstanding performance and effort: -
