MOU Signing For Aerospace Diploma Programme between SP and SIAEC

Our Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering (DARE) students will soon be benefitting from a new training pathway to become an Aircraft Certifying Technician serving the Singapore Aerospace Industry!    

SIA Engineering Company (SIAEC) and Singapore Polytechnic (SP) signed an MOU to co-develop an Aircraft Certifying Technician training pathway for our DARE students. 

In this collaboration, our DARE students will be accredited training hours based on their diploma curriculum. The accredited training hours will be recognised and count towards fulfilling the Certifying Technician training requirements. This would reduce the training time required for them to be an Aircraft Certifying technician. Our SP Academic Staff will also be inducted into SIAEC quality system as approved instructors. 

SIAEC and SP will also explore potential Continuing Education Training (CET) programme collaboration as part of the Certifying Technician recurrent training.
