What You Will Learn
Coaching involves developing a person’s skills and knowledge by offering guidance and support. It also involves turning work situations into learning opportunities that can lead to organisational achievements
This course will equip participants with skills to conduct workplace coaching using appropriate coaching techniques to close skills and knowledge gaps, and monitor the progress of staff for performance improvement
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Identify objectives of workplace coaching
- Identify the roles and responsibilities of workplace coaches and prepare a safe space for coaching to take place in accordance with organisational requirements
- Understand and apply key communication skills of an effective coach
- Identify areas for performance improvement
- Develop a workplace coaching plan
- Identify the different coaching methods and techniques that can be used in a workplace setting
- Deploy communication and feedback techniques that support effective coaching for one-on-one coaching as well as coaching a team at the workplace
- Conduct workplace coaching that helps participants achieve the knowledge, skills and aptitude they need

Credit Exemptions to WSQ ACLP 2.0 and WLF
Participants who complete all the four (4) workplace learning courses will be eligible to apply for credit exemptions towards the following certifications by the Institute of Adult Learning Singapore (IAL):

- WSQ Workplace Learning Facilitator (WLF)
This programme is approved for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours submission under the Training and Adult Educator Professional Pathway (TAEPP), administered by the Institute for Adult Learning (IAL). Upon successful completion, you may submit 14 CPD hours for their National Adult Educator (NAE) Registry renewal, subject to prevailing TAEPP requirements.
