Synopsis

The project aims to design and build a boat that is equipped with a hybrid propulsion system which utilises solar energy as its main power source with a battery as reservoir. The fossil-fuelled engine is required as safety back up. It is hoped that this propulsion concept will be more widely used in future as another green energy contributor.
