Another year of Work-Study Fair, another great opportunity to inspire a new generation of young learners on the vast possibilities made achievable with the SkillsFuture Work-Study Programme (WSP).The event was graced by Ms Gan Siow Huang, Minister of State for Education and Manpower with her opening address followed by the keynote address by Mr Sam Liew, Managing Partner of NCS Pte Ltd which added depth to the occasion.Witnessed by dignitaries, the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing between Singapore Polytechnic, Republic Polytechnic and NCS marked a significant collaboration as we look towards grooming a new generation of talent in the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) industry. The event concluded with an insightful Fireside Chat, as companies and participants shed light on the best of both worlds. We also had the privilege to host Ms. Gan Siow Huang as she explored the innovative booths of Singapore Polytechnic, along with our participating companies, AcePLP & Total eBiz Solutions.To top it off, our colleagues from the School of Business and School of Computing hosted webinar sessions (Work Study Certificate leading to Part-Time Diploma in Business Practice (Business Management & Work-Study Post-Diploma Specialist Diploma in Full Stack Web Development respectively) to further engage and inspire the participants on the impact of WSP.
