Berita Harian, 7 Sep 2015 - SP’s Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering graduate, Mohamed Faisal Mohamed Soffe, was featured as one of the recipients of this year’s Singapore-Industry Scholarship (SgIS). Faisal shared how his father encouraged him to pursue his passion for Engineering as well as the challenges he faced while transitioning from ITE to poly. Faisal is currently a third year student majoring in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Nanyang Technological University. Established in 2012, the SgIS is a collaboration with the Singapore government to identify and nurture a strong core of local talent with the requisite skills and capabilities to steer and ensure the nation’s continued sustainable economic and social progress.
