5G Garage
In Jan 2019, Singtel, Ericsson and Singapore Polytechnic (SP) opened the country’s first live 5G facility, called 5G Garage, at SP’s campus. It serves as a training centre, test bed and ideation lab to develop Singapore’s
5G ecosystem and drive the adoption of 5G by enterprises in their digital transformations.

SP-LTA Rail System Simulator Lab
In the Rail System Simulator Lab, an industry collaboration lab between SP and LTA, students will be immersed in an augmented learning environment. Being the only IHL equipped with this platform that integrates both hardware and software
aspects of a Rapid Transit System, students can apply experiential learning to gain knowledge of how rail engineering systems works.
