SP’s Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering student Daniel Ravindran Thangaraju, is one of five students to win the Youth Environmental Award. The award is sponsored by the National Youth Achievement Award and HSBC Bank and Daniel will also embark on a week-long study trip to the Acadia National Park in Maine, US. The research trip in August will give Daniel the opportunity to work with researchers from Canada's Churchill Northern Studies Centre, which studies environmental issues in the northern hemisphere. Daniel won the award based on his projects while he was still a Higher Nitec student at ITE College West. Original story first appeared in tabla!
