SILVERACE SENIOR ACTIVITY CENTRES (SACS)

NTUC Health SilverACE senior activity centres (SACs) are drop-in centres that promote active ageing and wellness for vulnerable elderly people in lower income neighbourhoods. The main aim is to encourage such elderly people to remain engaged in the community.

Currently, the School of EEE is collaborating with the SACs in Henderson, Taman Jurong, Bukit Merah and Telok Blangah. At the SACs, our students engage the elderly in activities like tea sessions, team-bonding games, arts & craft, sports, singalong sessions and even festive celebrations,. Through these activities, our students hope to encourage the elderly to interact with each other, remain engaged in the community and feel less socially isolated.
