Giving back to his alma mater

Mr Johnathan Ng, an Executive Project Engineer of Land Transport Authority came back to SP on 19 Nov 2014 to inspire our students and to share his experiences in the railway industry system, particularly in the areas of monitoring, controlling and coordinating safe and efficient movement of passengers and trains. His topic was “Sharing of Engineering Careers”

Johnathan graduated from Singapore Polytechnic, SEEE in 2009 and did his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, majoring in Telecommunication at the University of New South Wales in 2013.

He secured his current job while he was studying his degree. Johnathon gave an inspiring speech and engaged the students about engineering challenges and motivated them to pursue a career in Engineering. The session also gave an insight into career opportunities available at LTA.
