EEE graduates awarded Singapore-Industry Scholarship

Out of 26 SP graduates who were awarded the Singapore-Industry Scholarship (SgIS) in 2022, 12 were from EEE, the largest number from a single school in SP. The awardees will be invited to attend the Singapore-Industry Scholarship (SgIS) Award Ceremony 2022 on 16 Aug 22, graced by Mr Chan Chun Sing, Education Minister, to celebrate the students’ achievements.

The SgIS is an undergraduate scholarship targeting young Singaporean talent who are keen to contribute to leading organisations in Singapore's strategic sectors. It is a multi-industry scholarship in partnership with the Singapore Government. Through SgIS Scholars’ Development and Engagement Programme comprising events such as mentorships, leaders’ forums and SgIS Scholars’ Network, the awardees will get the opportunity to interact with leaders from the public and private sectors, allowing them to gain valuable insights about the industry of their interest and eventually contribute to Singapore’s strategic sectors upon graduation.
