EEE team won first prize at the National IloT Competition 2023

EEE team won first place and $500 at National IIOT Competition 2023, which started on 18 Mar 2023 with students’ presentation and award ceremony being held on 1 Apr 2023. The competition was organised by Republic Polytechnic and its theme is Smart Farming. Using the free IoT kit given, the team designed and developed a solar, low-powered IoT system that allows for automated outdoor farming and monitoring of sensor data such as temperature and humidity among others via a mobile app developed using MIT App Inventor. Their project title was “Low-Powered Sustainable IoT System for Vertical Farming using Solar”. The team was coached by Phyoe Kyaw Kyaw, Goh Say Seng, Boey Kai Ming, Seah Lee Huan, Low Yu Shun and Low Kok Hee.
