Christmas RACE 2018

Christmas RACE was an event carried out in collaboration with That’s Innovative Pte Ltd, nEbO and Downtown East to celebrate a fun-filled Christmas with the public at E!Avenue @ Downtown East on the 14th to 16th of December. The objective of the event was to promote family bonding by spending time to complete games and activities.

The student team from Diploma in integrated Events & Project Management (DEPM) was tasked to conceptualise the theme, programme content, logistics, manpower management, execute, manage and conduct evaluation of the event. In the conceptualising stage, the team had to come up with fun activities and games for the ticket holders to enjoy and the sourcing of venue and sponsorships. During the event, the team guided the participants to the different booths and controlled the flow for collection of goodie bags. Success factors included bringing in as many footfalls as we can to the event.

This project has been a memorable experience which gave the team a precious opportunity to take on the role of event organisers. Close teamwork and perseverance were essential for the success of the event.

Families embarked on a magical journey walking the trails filled with scare zones, carnival games, Halloween theme craft activities, themed food and beverages, bouncy castles, movie screenings, contests, magic performances, etc.
