With the advancement of technologies, information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT) onboard ships are increasingly being networked due to vessel digitization and often frequently connected to a private or public network.
This brings greater risk of unauthorized access or malicious attacks to ships’ systems, networks and even the safety of personnel on shipboard. As such, it is important for all Maritime personnel to be aware of the importance of cyber security, understand the impact and know what the best practices are in cyber security on shipboard.
The objective of the course is to create awareness and understanding of the cyber security threats and challenges faced by the Maritime Industry. Mitigation of risks and countermeasures will also be discussed in the course

Non-Deck officers, Deck Officer without prior Cyber Security Training, Shipyard / Port Worker
Ship-based and shore-based personnel who interact with IT & Computer
Minimum Entry Requirements / Assumed Skills and Knowledge
Personnel working in maritime industry with basic computer knowledge
Award / Certification / Accreditation
Participants upon achieving 75% attendance rate and passing all the assessments will be awarded the Certificate of Performance (electronic Certificate).

Please make cheques payable to “Singapore Polytechnic”. Do cross the cheque and write the Registration Reference ID, Applicant Name and NRIC/FIN number at the back of the cheque. When you have completed required details, you may mail the cheque here.
Please note that an administrative charge of $15 will be imposed for any returned cheques from the bank or financial institution.
