Python is a high level object-oriented computer programming language commonly used for rapid development on data analytics, automate tasks and etc. Open Platform Communication Unified Architecture (OPC UA) is a machine to machine communication protocol for industrial automation developed by the OPC Foundation.

Course Objective

This course aims to equip participants with essential knowledge and skills in developing Python programs in real-time monitoring and data analytics on a physical robotics automated system. Python Open Platform Communication Unified Architecture (OPC UA) and database will be introduced in this course.

Course Outline

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

Gain knowledge and skills in programming Python by demonstrating their capabilities in the following:
1. Basic syntax of Python, functions and libraries
2. IOT Edge Computing
3. Basic Networking
4. OPC UA client
5. SQL database
6. Data visualisation basics

Participants should have a fundamental level of the concept in programming
