Course Objective

This course provides participants with the skills needed to develop a structured On-the-Job Training (OJT) blueprint. During the course, participants will develop, submit, and present an OJT blueprint.

This course aims to equip participants with comprehensive knowledge and skills needed to design a structured On-the-Job Training (OJT) blueprint for the workplace. Participants will be able to identify the scope of work, concepts to properly design assessment criteria and processes to impart skills via workplace training, key success factors in developing a good blueprint, development of a comprehensive OJT checklist, and how to review and evaluate the effectiveness of OJT in an organisation.

Course Outline

By the end of the course, participants will be able to: 
1. Describe what is a workplace learning blueprint and its importance.
2. Design and develop an on-the-job training blueprint to facilitate workplace learning.
3. Prepare and conduct a workplace learning programme

1. Introduction to Workplace Learning (WpL) & Structured On-the-Job Training (OJT)
2. Linking WpL to Competency Development
3. The Design and Development of a WpL Programme
4. Preparing an OJT Blueprint
5. The Design and Development of a WpL Programmes
6. Validation of WpL Programmes
7. Preparation of an OJT Blueprint

• Certificate of Attendance (electronic Certificate will be issued)
A Certificate of Attendance will be awarded to participants who meet at least 75% attendance rate

• Certificate of Completion (electronic Certificate will be issued)
A Certificate of Completion will be awarded to participants who pass the assessment and meet at least 75% attendance rate
