Common ICT Programme (DCITP - S32)

Overview

Are you passionate about Information Technology (IT) but undecided about which IT course to take? The Common ICT Programme (DCITP) is designed to help you make an informed choice.

The DCITP is a semester long programme designed to give you a broad introduction to the Infocomm landscape and help you gain insights into the occupations and job roles, career pathways and employment opportunities in the various Infocomm sectors. The DCITP will also help you lay a strong foundation in programming and IT fundamentals. At the end of the year 1 semester 1, you will be able to make an informed choice in selecting one of the three IT courses that you wish to pursue:

The programme offers:

  • fundamental IT modules to give you an insight into what interests you.
  • common foundational modules and comprehensive exposure to various areas of IT through the Infocomm Professional Seminars.
  • curriculum which includes IT career guidance to prepares graduates for upcoming trend in IT sectors industry.
