Synopsis

The aim of this project is to design, fabricate and test UAV powerplant (electric motor) parts using commodity FDM plastic and high-end SLS metal 3D printing. This is to explore the feasibility of manufacturing replacement/substitute parts as well as the expected performance trade-off.
