This course is designed to help participants develop an understanding of their Key Organization and Business Objectives and assist the decision-makers and the senior stakeholders of the company to assess the company’s current performance; identify their current capabilities, challenges, underperformance issues; understand the company’s goals in the next 3-5 years. With this assessment, participants will be made to evaluate the key recommendations to the company’s transformative process.

Course Objective

This course will facilitate participants to explore and brainstorm on the key organization goals and business objectives. Participants will be able to assess the current scenario and identify the gaps.

Participants who are the main senior stakeholders will be enabled to analyse various product/service offerings and identify gaps. They will then evaluate the recommendations to close these gaps.

Course Outline

By the end of the course, participants will be able to: 

1. Determine key organisation goals, business objectives and key drivers for success
2. Perform detailed analysis on the current scenario
3. Identify current capabilities and challenges
4. Investigate and understand the gaps, blockages and the root causes of underperformance issues 
5. Identify right team to take action to further deep dive into the gaps 
6. Recommend next steps to close the gaps

Minimum Requirements

Participants should have at least 2 years of experience in management position

Ho Chii Wen

Ho Chii Wen has served in global finance leadership roles, mainly in US MNCs, over the past 20 years. He set up the finance function in China and was an Audit Manager in US and Europe. More recently, he served in management positions for a few SMEs in the region. His areas of interest are in corporate strategy setting, change and process management.
A member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants, Chii Wen is a graduate from NTU and is also a Sloan Fellow (MSc in Management) from London Business School.

Colin Soh

Colin Soh's forte is in running Operations and Services, both in technical and customer, and has successfully run modest operations covering a few million dollars to over a hundred million USD annually.

He has broad end-to-end (Sales-Operations-Services) career history spanning over 33 years. His past experiences include quality assurance engineering, field engineering in manufacturing, starting and running a high tech start-up division in Graphic Arts and leading a sales team. Additionally, he has managed international support teams operating across Asia Pacific and India, including China and Japan.
