Throughout my three fruitful years in SP, I was enlightened that there are so much more to food science and technology than the name suggests. In fact, there are indeed different disciplines and facets to food science which I grew to enjoy learning with the guidance of my supportive lecturers. Being able to apply what I was taught in school in an industrial setting during my 22-week internship had allowed me to further develop myself as an individual and fuelled my interest in pursuing food science in a professional capacity.
