COMMON ENGINEERING PROGRAMME (S40)

Overview

You are passionate about engineering but undecided about which course to take. Fret not. The Common Engineering Programme is carefully designed for you to make the right choice. During the first semester, you will be introduced to the world of engineering where you get to dabble with mechanical equipment, electrical circuits and electronic gadgets to discover your interests and strengths.

At the end of it, you will be able to make an informed choice out of seven engineering courses – Aeronautical Engineering; Aerospace Electronics; Computer Engineering; Electrical and Electronic Engineering;  Engineering with Business; Mechanical Engineering; or Mechatronics & Robotics.

The participating engineering courses comprise three diplomas from MAE and four from EEE. For information concerning future prospects, please refer to the respective diploma course.

* Course allocation of students are based on their 1st semester cGPA, course choices and vacancies in courses.

If you choose any of the EEE diploma courses above (DASE, DCPE, DEEE, DEB) in year one semester two, you will be eligible to apply for the SP-NUS or SP-SUTD Accelerated Pathway Programmes (see below)
