Course Objective

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

. Evaluate tools that assist in productivity
. Create an individual productivity plan
. State the importance of data in everyday life and work
. Perform basic data analysis using Microsoft Excel to gain insights to work-related problems and scenarios.

Course Outline

Digital Confidence for Productivity (30 hours)	2 modules — three ½-days for each module This course focuses on using digital tools that can help improve one’s productivity in their personal and work life. In addition, participants will also be given opportunities to make use of basic data analysis functions in MS Excel to gain insights to work-related problems and scenarios. Module 1:Leveraging on useful media & tools to improve productivity Module 2:Using basic data analysis skills to gain insights to work-related problems and scenarios
Digital Confidence for Problem Solving (30 hours)	2 modules — three ½-days for each module This course focuses on equipping participants with information literacy skillsets to discern useful knowledge from the world wide web. In addition, participants will also make use of various Design Thinking tools to generate user-centered innovative ideas for work and personal life. Module 1:Building info literacy competency through using web resources Module 2:Using Design Thinking processes & tools to increase innovative ideas
Digital Confidence for Communication & Collaboration (30 hours)	2 modules — three ½-days for each module This course focuses on using various digital tools for effective online communication and collaboration. In addition, participants will be able to apply knowledge and skills together with collaboration e-tools to plan and conduct an effective communication experience. Participants will also explore the world of Virtual Learning Communities to assist them to learn new knowledge and skills in an area of interest. Module 1:Effective collaboration across multiple platforms Module 2:Skills for effective online communication
Digital Confidence for Cyber Security & Internet of Things (30 hours)	2 modules — three ½-days for each module This course focuses on building good practices for cyber security in daily digital interactions. Participants will be able to decipher the opportunities that Internet of Things can offer in their daily work through the building of a mini artefact. Module 1:Identify and create a personal plan to mitigate cyber security threats Module 2:Design, build & explain a personal IoT artefact and how it improves work processes

Certification / Accreditation

A Certificate of Attendance (electronic Certificate) will be awarded to participants who complete all four courses with attendance of not less than 75% in each module.
