Guide to SP Work-Study Programme (WSP)

IAL is an autonomous institute of the Singapore University of Social Sciences and the National Centre of Excellence for Adult Learning. They partner with policymakers, enterprises, and adult education professionals to strengthen the Training and Adult Education (TAE) sector, including the establishment of Training and Adult Educator Professional Pathway (TAEPP).

The following SP course(s) are eligible for CPD points under TAEPP as approved by IAL.

SIA is a professional organisation established in 1963 with the objective to promote the architectural profession and built environment in Singapore. The institute is the sole representative for the architectural profession.

The following SP course(s) are eligible for CPD points. The award of CPD points is subject to SIA’s review and approval on a run-by-run basis.

SILA is a non-profit organisation representing landscape architects in Singapore. It was established in 1985 to advance the science and art of Landscape Architecture, theory and practice of landscape, environmental, and urban design; to promote research and education therein; creating and maintaining a high standard of professional qualification.

The following SP course(s) are eligible for CPD points. The award of CPD points is subject to SILA’s review and approval on a run-by-run basis.

PEB’s Mission is to safeguard life, property, and welfare of the public by setting and maintaining high standards for registering professional engineers, regulating and advancing the practice of professional engineering.

IES was formally established in July 1966 as the national society of engineers in Singapore. IES is the premier engineering institution in Singapore often called upon by the Government to provide feedback on professional engineering matters. IES is well represented among faculty members of the major engineering institutions of higher learning in Singapore. 

CEA is a statutory board under the Ministry of National Development. It was established since 22 October 2010 under the Estate Agents Act, to regulate and develop the real estate agency industry. In pursuit of its mission to raise the professionalism of the real estate agency industry and safeguard consumer interest, CEA focuses on three broad strategies: effective regulation, industry development and consumer education.

SCDF is a uniformed organisation under the purview of the Ministry of Home Affairs. The main role of SCDF is providing fire-fighting, rescue and emergency medical services; mitigating hazardous materials incidents, as well as formulate, implement and enforce regulations on fire safety and civil defence shelter matters.
